The Client Conversion & Engagement Marketing Manager works very closely with the Director of Client Conversion & Retention Marketing to help optimize conversion and retention of clients.

  • This position will develop content for marketing channels across the client funnel (80% is for the email channel) and will partner with cross-functional teams to complete projects and ensures contacts across the client journey are executed flawlessly.
  • The ideal candidate has created content strategies, has written email copy, has working knowledge of direct marketing best practices, set up and analyzed AB tests, leveraged new and existing technologies, and leveraged data to make smart business decisions. The Marketing Manager must love to learn and exhibit that through evolving the way we communicate with our clients. This leader needs to be both highly strategic and a strong operator and be able to think effectively about the business needs today and in the future.

This role can be based in either of our NY offices or where the chosen applicant resides.


  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across the customer funnel.
  • Implement a lead contact strategy that leads to an increase in conversion.
  • Create content journeys that can help drive retention of existing clients.
  • Leverage client portal to drive engagement.
  • Work closely with Sales, Service, and cross-company partners to deeply understand the client experience.
  • Partner with Analytics to understand efficacy of efforts across channels.
  • Provide detailed reporting that allows key stakeholders to understand campaign efficacy.
  • Identify new technologies that can more effectively convert leads and help deepen client retention.


5-7 years of direct-to-consumer marketing, subscription marketing, marketing communications, or client experience that includes the management of personalized, segmented campaigns.

  • Demonstrated experience in a test and learn environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that allow you to clearly articulate ideas to both clients and internal constituents in an effective way.
  • Comfort in a data-driven environment that is supported by strong quantitative skills and proficiency to perform analyses in Excel.
  • Ability to leverage data to create impactful client-facing messaging.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and often changing environment.
  • Solid project management skills that demonstrate the ability to manage priorities, set and meet deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and efficiency of the deliverables.
  • Ability to think strategically, tactically, and creatively.
  • Understanding of CRM tools. Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus.
  • Interest in learning about new technologies.
  • Great attitude and a sense of humor.
