    Strategic’s Human Resources Business Partner manages a team as well as directly contributes as an acting HRBP for several business units and its employees.  You will deliver comprehensive human resources programs, initiatives and solutions in support of increased employee and organizational performance. This includes providing proactive, innovative, customer-focused HR solutions that are aligned with the needs of the business objectives. Solutions and strategies may include talent management/development, performance management, consultation on employee relations issues, benefits administration, and modeling values and building a culture in alignment with Corporate. Responsible for developing credible and trusting relationships with senior leaders, managers and employees. Reports to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources.



    • Implementation and administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures and practices, including but not limited to; performance management, corrective actions and internal investigations, talent review and organizational changes. This is completed in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements
    • Partnering with senior leadership in all business functions to ensure consistent practices, procedures, and HR strategies are being executed
    • Providing input in design and development of company-wide HR initiatives and programs to ensure alignment with business requirements
    • Advising management with respect to employee relations and performance management issues, with an emphasis on early identification and resolution
    • Assisting HR in developing solutions through organizational development (e.g., restructuring, roles and responsibility clarification, competency development, etc.)
    • Facilitating leadership development and key talent retention efforts (e.g. coaching/counseling, employee recognition, etc.) and partnering with Training and Development to deliver soft skill training to employee population
    • Partnering with specialized HR areas including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training and HRIS to ensure specific needs of the divisions are being met
    • Liaising with the talent acquisition team and external legal counsel for any immigration and work authorization needs, (OPT, J-1, and H-1B)
    • Assisting with the Payroll & Benefit Specialist in payroll processing for partnered business units and benefit management
    • Gathering and analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives
    • Flexibility to work on special projects that fall in any of the following areas: Benefits, Training and Development, HRIS, Payroll, Compliance, Employee Relations and Engagement



    • 10+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, manager, or HR Business Partner capacity
    • Strong Communication Skills:  Superior written and oral communication skills; ability to present information and influence decisions; comfort working with people from diverse backgrounds and at all levels within the organization

    • Organizational Skills: Extremely organized; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; meticulous attention to detail
    • Regulatory/Compliance: In-depth knowledge of federal and NYS Employment laws
    • Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with ADP Workforce strongly preferred; familiarity with online recruiting tools and job sites
    • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required
