    Responsibilities

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Ensure authorization and settlement letters from financial institutions are on file and review for accuracy before processing
    • Accurate and timely processing of settlements
    • Meet established Key Performance Metrics regarding processing completion rate and established SLAs
    • Ensure payments to creditors are loaded and processed on time and utilitizing correct payments types
    • Monitor missing/late payments and contact creditors accordingly
    • Monitor items on the un-cleared payments report/handling escalated un-cleared payment issues
    • Calling in phone payments to creditors following all company procedures for safeguarding our client’s identitied
    • Review authorizations for client direct settlement payments
    • Appropriately update accounts as settled
    • Add settlements to the settlement tracker
    • Work with members of customer service & negotiations to satisfy client requests or settlement/payment related questions
    • Participate in special projects as needed

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED, college degree preferred
    • Background in Call Center, Banking or Collections preferred

    Preferred Skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong proficiency in Excel
    • Highly organized and detailed oriented
    • High level of professionalism
    • Ability to work well under pressure and have a sense of urgency to resolve and investigate issues
    • Ability to multi-task, operate efficiently, with a willingness, and desire, to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
    • Strong math skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal partners
