    We are looking for a smart, passionate, and experienced IT Program Manager who can successfully manage multiple projects and lead a team of project managers to do the same through Agile Project Management Office disciplines. 

    Responsibilities

    • Introduce and foster a culture of Agile Project Management discipline within the IT team and among the stakeholders
    • Mentor and coach project managers and business analysts to successfully deliver solutions
    • Manage IT project delivery by ensuring the integrated solution delivers on the success criteria.
    • Address project issues and risks and builds commitment with delivery team and business partners
    • Collaborate effectively in business partner relationships when defining business requirements and success criteria
    • Negotiate competing requirements across business owners and set project direction with business leaders and delivery leads
    • Artfully balance knowledge of PMP standard methodologies (PMBOK) and Agile framework while managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, change, risks, and issues
    • Exhibit critical thinking by seeing outcomes and providing direction when there are multiple stakeholders and solutions
    • Build in mitigation plans anticipating dependencies and risks and actively refactor project plans and expectations with business and delivery teams throughout project delivery
    • Demonstrate consultative skills in solving problems by using technical and business insight to inform the facilitation of developing objectives and approach
    • Execute goal setting and with business owners and senior leaders and contribute to operational alignment

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years’ experience managing software projects
    • Tolerant of ambiguity and the flexibility to work well in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
    • Experience with PMP, Agile and Scrum
    • Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral)
    • Strong organizational planning skills and understanding of portfolio management concepts
    • Effective and creative in solving problems with an ability to identify issues and resolve, or identify the internal resources to assist
    • BA or BS degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems

    Nice to Have

    • Expertise with JIRA
    • PMO or portfolio management experience in a technology setting
    • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
    • Agile certification
    • Consulting background
    • Vendor management experience
