    This position is a new role in a rapidly expanding marketing department.  The role is highly visible to all business units throughout the organization and especially senior management.  The Marketing Manager works closely with the SVP of Marketing to help optimize conversion and retentions of clients.  The position will work closely with both Sales and Creative to ensure that each contact point across the client journey is perfect.  The ideal candidate has created content strategies, leveraged new and existing technologies, and leveraged data to make smart business decisions.  The Marketing Manager must love to learn and exhibit that through evolving the way we communicate with our clients.  This leader needs to be both highly strategic and a strong operator.  The Marketing Manager will help shape the direction of this position and should be able think effectively about the business needs today and in the future.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and implement a lead contact strategy that leads to an increase in conversion.
    • Establish content strategy that can be used with existing clients to help drive retention.
    • Identify new platforms that can be leveraged to more effectively communicate with leads and clients.
    • Leverage client portal to drive engagement
    • Work closely with Sales and Service to deeply understand the client experience
    • Partner with Analytics Manager to understand the efficacy of efforts across all communication channels
    • Provide detailed reporting that allow key stakeholders to understand campaign efficacy.
    • Identify new technologies and platforms that help drive engagement and retention.
    • Actively monitor the direct and indirect competitive environment.

    Qualifications

    • 5-7 years of marketing, communication, or client experience that includes the management of sophisticated campaigns
    • Demonstrated experience in a test and learn environment
    • Superior vendor management experience, including negotiating new contracts and optimizing existing ones
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that allow you to clearly articulate ideas to both clients and internal constituents in an effective way
    • Comfort in a data-driven environment that is supported by strong quantitative skills and proficiency perform analyses in Excel
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and often changing environment
    • Solid project management skills that demonstrate the ability to manage priorities, set and meet deadlines, and manage budgets while maintaining accuracy and efficiency of the deliverables.
    • Ability to think both strategically, tactically, and creatively.
    • Great attitude and a sense of humor
