    A successful sales trainer at Strategic Financial Solutions prepares new sales representatives by conducting an orientation to the sales process and our company culture. This person is a leader, a mentor and a trainer. A Strategic sales trainer takes ownership of the training materials, performance and actions of new sales hires. In addition, they work closely with sales management to identify challenges new hires face on the job to improve their experience.  Their daily activities will ultimately help increase the overall performance of our sales team and ensure that fully trained sales reps are graduating training ready to help consumers.

    Responsibilities

    • Have a strong knowledge and understanding of the organizations products, services, customers, competitors and sales techniques.
    • Enhance sales staff productivity, closing skills, consultative sales skills and objection handling.
    • Contribute to ongoing changes to training curricula.
    • Onboard new sales employees.
    • Collect feedback from trainees and managers about training courses.
    • Report on impact of training programs.
    • Keep up on industry trends, relevant KPI’s and any changes in scripting to ensure optimal training for new hires and ongoing training for seasoned sales reps.
    • Ensure all new hires understand SFS’s core values and why they are important to our company culture.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
    • 3 Years minimum as a sales or corporate trainer
    • Ability to motivate, teach and inspire sales staff
    • Sales experience is a plus
    • Experience in role playing
    • A results-oriented attitude driven by exceeding targets
    • Able to develop and motivate talent with a focus on delivering the best customer experience
    • Strong communication and relationship management skillset  
    • Excellent organizational skills, keeping great records in our company LMS
    • Additional certification in training is a plus
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power point and Microsoft Excel
