We are looking for an analytically savvy Marketing Manager to help drive acquisition through the direct mail channel. The ideal candidate must be capable of drawing conclusions from Excel data and make decisions that improve the business from those conclusions. The Marketing Director should be a continuous learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position will own the direct mail roadmap, including creating a test and learn culture the drives results. The ultimate goal of the Marketing Manager is to drive down acquisition costs within the direct mail channel.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement the direct mail strategy that meets clearly established KPI.
  • Establish test and learn culture that helps to drive response rates.
  • Identify new opportunities to reach new clients, including new formats and creatives.
  • Work closely with data providers to understand the target universe and grow it.
  • Partner with Analytics Manager to understand campaign performance to determine which strategies should are most effective and which ones should be eliminated.
  • Provide detailed reporting that allow key stakeholders to understand campaign efficacy.
  • Develop strong relationship with mail house to ensure that all campaigns are launched in the desired timeframe and within budget.
  • Continually look for new production partners that can help drive down costs.
  • Actively monitor the direct and indirect competitive environment.

Qualifications

 

  • 5-7 years of direct mail experience that includes the management of sophisticated campaigns
  • Proven track record of driving positive results
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that allow you to clearly articulate ideas and results in a constructive way
  • Comfort in a data-driven environment that is supported by strong quantitative skills and proficiency perform analyses in Excel
  • Solid project management skills that demonstrate the ability to manage priorities, set and meet deadlines, and manage budgets while maintaining accuracy and efficiency of the deliverables.
  • Ability to think both strategically, tactically, and creatively.
  • Great attitude and a sense of humor
