The Salesforce Project Manager will manage several small to medium sized projects in an Agile Framework.  You will work closely with the agile teams consisting of Business Relationship Managers, Technical Leads, Developers, Business Analysts and other stakeholders.  We are also looking for someone who can lead us start agile practices from scratch which includes coaching team members and ensure everyone uses Jira and Atlassian.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, initiate & manage Business-to-Consumer (B2C) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems software projects (Salesforce)
  • Uphold and implement best practices in Project Management to help organize the CRM and Integration team’s work.
  • Lead one or more projects through the end to end project delivery lifecycle.
  • Help in defining staffing requirements and forming project teams.
  • Conducting project kick-off meetings, and communicate individual project roles and expectations.
  • Ensure all project team members have the tools and training necessary to perform effectively.
  • Remove impediments/blockers in order to keep teams productive.
  • Manage vendors to ensure adherence to SLAs and expectations.
  • Develop metrics, procedures, objectives, and methods to assess project progress.
  • Create and publish a weekly summary that outlines the state of projects across the departments.
  • Effectively communicate the status of all projects across the department, highlighting issues or conflicts between teams to stakeholders and management.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and technical competence.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance with broad scope and high complexity.
  • Coordinate IT project team to ensure that business requirements are effectively incorporated into design specifications, multi-platform integrations and data transfers
  • Assess business implications for each project stage
  • Execute role of Agile Scrum Master and guide the software development lifecycle (SDLC) process for systems and product delivery under an agile framework
  • Ensure solution quality and great user experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Project Management Certification highly preferred
  • 7+ years of overall project management experience
  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience. 
  • Experience managing SaaS projects, especially Salesforce, CRM, Community Cloud implementations
  • Experience working with and training others on Atlassian tools, such as Confluence and JIRA, as well as other Project Management and Collaboration tools
  • Experience managing external vendors to successfully deliver projects
  • Well developed problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Multi-tasking capabilities and ability to adapt to a fast paced environment
  • Certified Administrator and Certified Platform App Builder a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cohesively within a team and/or effectively as an individual
  • Ability to prioritize and sequence workstreams, and assess project risks
